Terms and conditions - yawn! At Gamely our goal is to make people happy, and that impacts how we do business. We want you to love your games and to be happier because of your interaction with us. We have tried to make the following as simple as possible, but if you have any further questions please just get in touch at yourfriends@gamelyltd.com.

Refund Policy

Although we’re confident you’re going to love our games, if you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase you can return your games to us for a refund or replacement. You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. If you have a product that needs returning please email us at yourfriends@gamelyltd.com, telling us why you’re not satisfied and how we can help you.

PrIVACY and GDPR

Your privacy matters to us. We think everyone deserves privacy and to have their information treated with respect. We will never ever give or sell your data to anyone else.

We are also fully compliant with the latest EU GDPR regulations. In practice this means that if you want to know what data we have about you and what we do with it, we are happy to tell you. We have nothing at all to hide! In brief, we only hold data you’ve told us (via Joymail/Box of Joy sign-up) and we don’t edit this information in any way.

We keep your data very securely in full compliance with the latest EU GDPR regulations. We don’t use your data on a regular basis, and only refer to it for our monthly box of joy competition, to make sure we buy the winners things they’ll love.

For those subscribed to Joymail, your name and email address is stored securely by Mailchimp - view their full privacy policy here. The answers to your Joymail sign up questions are stored by Google. You can view their GDPR information, including a raftload of terms of services and policies here.

You can unsubscribe from Joymail at any time, by clicking the link to do this at the bottom of any email or by emailing us directly. If you ever want to update the information we hold on you, or be deleted from our database, or if you have any questions regarding any of this, just email us at yourfriends@gamelyltd.com and we’ll get back to you within as quickly as we can.

TLDR, plain language summary

We will be totally fair, and everyone has an equal chance of winning. We can’t win, and neither can our partners, kids, parents or siblings. You need to be 18+ and have filled out the relevant information on the Joymail sign-up in order to enter. If you win we will ring you. If we can’t get hold of you after three tries, we will move on to draw another winner (sorry!). Although we plan on running Box of Joy for the forseeable future, if things change we give ourselves the wiggle room to change things however we need to. Good luck!

Full terms and conditions

The Box of Joy competition is run by Gamely Ltd. Our registered address is 88 Ditchling Road, Brighton, BN1 4SG.

Winners will be drawn at random each month using an online electronic draw website. 

Entry is open to anyone aged 18+. If at time of winning you cannot confirm you are 18+ according to the information you provided when signing up, we will not award the prize and will re-draw a new winner.

No purchase is necessary to enter the competition. In order to qualify, entrants must have filled out an answer for all information fields on the box of joy form. These answers must make sense (I.E. Not be random text). It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details, and phone number in particular, are up to date. You can update your personal information at anytime by emailing us at yourfriends@gamelyltd.com.

We will only accept one entry per person. If we detect multiple accounts for the same person, they will all be immediately removed and you will be disqualified from future entry for the Box of Joy.

Close family (I.E. Parents, children, partners or siblings) of Gamely Limited staff will not be eligible to win the prize.

There is no closing date for entry for the Box of Joy, and everyone who has signed up before the date of the draw will be eligible to be entered into the draw for that month. 

The winner will be notified by telephone. We will attempt to contact a winner by telephone call three times over separate days. If we are unable to contact the winner after three attempts over separate days we will re-draw and a new winner will be decided. Winners will not be required to participate in any post-draw publicity, but we will announce the name and city of the winner (e.g. David from Brighton) and release an image of the prizes being sent.

Although where possible we will give notice, we reserve the right to amend the rules, withdraw the box of joy competition or deny someone entry or a prize award for any reason at any time.

All decisions will be made by Gamely Ltd and are final, and not open to appeal.
